We invite you to submit an abstract for SEG 2019 on one of the themes below. Sessions will include both technical oral presentations and speed talks. Poster sessions are planned to introduce works in progress, new ideas, and student projects.
Thank you and we look forward to reviewing your submissions!

Extended abstracts are submitted and managed using the online Abstract Manager. During submission you may choose to give an oral presentation, present a poster, or either (abstract reviewers will make this decision and determine which presenters should be offered the option to give a Speed Talk). Once submitted, edits may still be made until the closing of submission. Presenters may submit two extended abstracts as the lead author, although they may be listed as co-authors of other presentations.
Before submitting, please review requirements for presenting, formatting, and submitting your presentation and/or poster.
Before submitting, please read this entire page, as well as the presentation requirements.
SEG students whose abstracts are accepted will be considered for financial assistance, which can be used for conference travel and accommodations. After being notified of eligibility, students must register no later than the early registration deadline to receive funds.
To be considered for financial assistance, you must already be an SEG Student Member. Before submitting an abstract, confirm that your membership is current or apply to become a member. You will be asked for your SEG Member ID when submitting an abstract.
Funds are distributed at the discretion of the SEG 2019 Organizing Committee.
